Eight days of exploring the entire west
coast of Spitsbergen, including Bjørnøya/Bear Island! This is a
totally new and exciting cruise, taking you all the way from the far
south, up to the 80th parallel. In the course of an intense week, you
will experience Svalbard’s spectacular nature with beautiful fjords
surrounded by jagged peaks and huge glaciers. During the cruise you
will also experience the wildlife and the fierce environment of the
Arctic. The birdlife is remarkable, and even the most blasé
ornithologists will be completely astonished. Most likely you will
spot seals, whales, walruses and the ‘king’ himself; the polar bear,
in their natural
habitat.
