Kingdom of the Polar Bear (9 days)
Travel Tips

Polar Bears
Approximately 4,500 polar bears inhabit Spitsbergen. Polar bears can be seen in the east, north, and south, and polar bear spotting is also common along the western fjords and coastlines. Visits of the polar bears to settlements around Spitsbergen are familiar sights.

An expedition on board an Arctic vessel to Svalbard's remote northern and eastern regions. A tour for those who wish to experience drift ice and, most likely, polar bears.

Expedition Voyages on MV Polar Star and MS Expedition circumnavigates Spitsbergen. Passengers cruise under the midnight sun exploring Spitsbergen's Arctic landscapes and abundant wildlife. Massive glaciers cover 60 percent of the land, and fjords are lined with steep cliffs and rugged mountains. Polar bears, wild reindeer, Arctic foxes, walruses, whales, seals and many species of migratory birds are encountered in this wonderland. All Spitsbergen programs feature naturalist guides, lectures and Zodiac landings.

Low Season rates starting from Euro 4780- pr. person on Double Occupancy basis in an Outside Cabin.
